Blob
Frederick J. Dukes
A massively obese mutant whose body is virtually immovable once he plants his feet. The Blob is one of the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and has been a persistent thorn in the X-Men's side for decades. Simple, crude, and surprisingly dangerous, he is the Brotherhood's immovable object to the X-Men's unstoppable force.

Blob remains a reliable but largely unremarkable member of the Brotherhood's rotating villain roster, serving as muscle in classic X-Men confrontations without generating much passionate discussion. His most memorable modern moment came in All-New X-Men #37 when teen Jean Grey faced him, though he's generally treated as a lower-tier threat compared to heavyweights like Magneto or Apocalypse. His cameo appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse, played by late Canadian wrestler Claude Ouimet, briefly brought renewed attention to the character outside the comics.
