Fan Sentiment

X-23 has evolved from a breakout character in X-Men: Evolution to a beloved mainstay who earned the right to carry the Wolverine mantle alongside Logan. Marjorie Liu's acclaimed solo run is frequently cited as essential reading, showcasing Laura's journey from weapon to hero with genuine emotional depth. While some fans miss her original biracial design from Evolution, her character development and recent prominence in books like Laura Kinney: Wolverine have cemented her status as one of the most successful legacy characters in modern X-Men comics.
