A Morlock who grows bones out of her body and tears them free to use as weapons. Marrow is the living embodiment of mutant rage (raised in the sewers, radicalized by the Mutant Massacre that slaughtered her people, and willing to kill humans to protect mutantkind). Her time with the X-Men slowly tempered her fury without extinguishing it.

Fan Sentiment

Marrow's late-90s push as a major X-Men member never quite connected with fans, and she's often cited as emblematic of the era's struggles to create compelling new mutants. Her brief tenure on the main roster felt underdeveloped, and she was unceremoniously dropped from prominence, leaving her as a cult favorite among Morlocks enthusiasts rather than the breakout star Marvel intended. Tom Taylor's All-New Wolverine run gave her a memorable supporting role that reminded readers of her potential, but she remains a "what could have been" character whose rough edges never found the right creative team.
