Magik
Illyana Rasputin
Colossus's little sister, kidnapped to the demonic dimension of Limbo as a child and returned as a teenage sorceress wielding the Soulsword. Illyana is both mutant and dark sorceress, constantly fighting the demonic corruption within her. Her story is one of the X-Men's most tragic (a child robbed of innocence who became something terrifying and magnificent in equal measure).

Magik has surged in popularity in recent years, becoming a fan-favorite X-Men representative in video games and heavily promoted by Marvel as a potential MCU team member. Her dark, complex journey through Limbo and mastery of both mutant powers and demonic sorcery make her a standout character who feels equally at home leading the New Mutants or serving on the main X-Men roster. The Krakoa era solidified her status as one of the franchise's most powerful and consistently compelling characters.
