Longshot
Longshot
An artificially created humanoid from the Mojoverse, a dimension ruled by the insane television mogul Mojo. Longshot's power is psychometric luck (probability bends in his favor as long as his motives are pure). His mullet, hollow bones, and four fingers mark him as alien, but his optimism and heroism are entirely human.

Longshot remains a cult favorite for his iconic Ann Nocenti/Arthur Adams 1985 miniseries, widely regarded as a visually stunning and tonally unique entry in Marvel's catalogue. His Claremont-era X-Men tenure is more divisive, with fans appreciating the Dazzler romance and his role in the "Fall of the Mutants," but many feel he was underutilized and departed unceremoniously. The character's convoluted Mojoverse backstory, while distinctive, is often cited as one of the most confusing mythologies in X-Men lore.
