Jubilee
Jubilation Lee
A mall rat from Beverly Hills who generates explosive plasmoids from her hands. Jubilee attached herself to Wolverine in the Australian Outback and became his unlikely partner, filling the kid sidekick role that Kitty Pryde had outgrown. Her irreverent personality and pop-culture references made her the quintessential '90s X-Man.

Jubilee holds a special place in fans' hearts as the quintessential '90s X-Man, though her nostalgic appeal sometimes makes her feel anachronistic in modern stories. Her role as Wolverine's sidekick during the Jim Lee era remains her defining moment, and Scott Lobdell's Generation X run is widely considered her best characterization, giving her a fun, streetwise voice that transcended her bubblegum aesthetic. While she's beloved for her personality and iconic yellow coat, fans often wish she had more to do in contemporary X-Men stories beyond serving as a reminder of the franchise's glory days.
