A mutant whose body is a transparent blob of living bio-paraffin over a visible skeleton. Originally a background bully at Xavier's, Glob became a breakout character during the Krakoa era (earnest, loyal, and surprisingly endearing). His flammable body is both his greatest vulnerability and his most dramatic weapon.

Fan Sentiment

Glob Herman has emerged as a beloved underdog figure in X-Men comics, celebrated for his earnest kindness and unexpected heroic moments despite his grotesque appearance. His wholesome personality and pure-hearted nature have made him a fan-favorite background character, with readers particularly enjoying his appearances in recent Krakoa-era X-Men runs where he's been given more spotlight. The character represents what many consider the best of the mutant metaphor (someone visibly different who nonetheless embodies heroism and compassion).
