Fan Sentiment

Corsair is widely regarded as a fascinating but flawed father figure whose nuanced portrayal by Claremont elevated him beyond typical deadbeat dad tropes. The poignant scene in Uncanny X-Men #155 where Scott discovers their relation through his reflection remains a standout moment fans frequently cite. While his absence looms large in the Summers family saga, his complex characterization and the tragic weight of his choices make him a memorable figure in X-Men lore.
