The Morlocks attack Callisto and the Healer for their betrayal, and though the Healer restores Callisto's appearance before dying, the team discovers the Morlocks have gone mad from a shared telepathic link. When Storm attempts to calm the frenzied Morlocks in the tunnels, her claustrophobia triggers a massive lightning bolt that creates a crater in Times Square and releases the Morlocks into Manhattan
