Riptide
Janos Quested
A Marauder who can spin his body at superhuman speeds, hurling calcium shuriken with lethal force. Riptide was one of the most dangerous combatants during the Mutant Massacre, critically injuring Nightcrawler and Colossus. Colossus killed him in retaliation, one of the first times an X-Man deliberately took a life.

Riptide remains a footnote in X-Men history, best remembered as one of Mr. Sinister's original Marauders who participated in the Mutant Massacre. His spinning shuriken powers and distinctive appearance make him visually memorable, but he's never developed beyond being a reliable henchman who shows up when Sinister needs muscle. He's the kind of B-list villain who exists primarily to fill out team rosters and get knocked around by the X-Men.
