Leech
Leech
A young Morlock whose power nullifies the abilities of any mutant in his proximity. Leech survived the Mutant Massacre as a child and was taken in by X-Factor, later becoming a ward of Generation X. His innocence amid the horrors of the tunnels made him one of the most sympathetic figures in the Morlocks, and his power-dampening ability has made him a recurring plot device in stories about mutant control.

Leech remains a beloved supporting character best remembered for his pivotal role in the Mutant Massacre and as a heart-tugging figure in the Morlocks' tragic story. His power-nullifying abilities have made him a strategic wildcard in major storylines, though he's often relegated to cameo appearances rather than character development. The X-Men films brought him renewed attention, but comic fans still hold the greatest affection for his innocent, childlike portrayal during Claremont's classic New Mutants run.
