Fantomex
Charlie-Cluster 7
A product of the Weapon Plus program (Weapon XIII) designed in the artificial environment of The World, Fantomex possesses three brains, an external nervous system called E.V.A., and the power of misdirection. Created by Grant Morrison as a French-accented Diabolik pastiche, he became a key member of Wolverine's X-Force and one of the most morally ambiguous X-Men.

Fantomex enjoys a devoted cult following for his stylish, morally ambiguous characterization in Grant Morrison's New X-Men and Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force, where his complex relationship with Psylocke and willingness to make dark choices (like killing Kid Apocalypse) sparked intense debate. His French-accented charm and metafictional Weapon Plus origins make him a favorite among fans who appreciate Morrison-era weirdness, though he remains a niche character who works best in small doses. The Giant-Size X-Men: Fantomex one-shot and his Krakoan-era appearances keep him in the conversation, but he's never quite broken through to A-list status despite memorable moments.
