Fan Sentiment

Captain Britain remains a perennially underutilized character despite his rich mythology and connection to the multiverse, with fans consistently hoping for a solo series or major live-action debut that never quite materializes. The recent body-swap resolution that returned Betsy Braddock to her original form as Captain Britain has been story-wise appreciated but created marketing challenges, as the "Psylocke" brand now belongs to Kwannon while Betsy struggles for relevance in her classic identity. Tini Howard's Knights of X run attempted to modernize the Captain Britain mythology during the Krakoa era, though the character's greatest potential still feels largely untapped.
